Wellbeing App for Teaching Principal
For small schools · ACARA v9 aligned SEL platform

Flat rate $395/year
The Switch4Schools app allows for digital check-ins, real-time reporting, online support, daily resources, weekly reports, and lesson plans, fully scoped and sequenced to ACARA Version 9, aligning with Personal and Social Capability (self-awareness, emotional regulation, social awareness, relationship skills) and Health and Physical Education (mental health literacy, wellbeing strategies).
30-sec check-ins
Every school day starts with a 30-second student check-in, completed on the Switch4Schools app. Students answer five simple questions — how tired they are, whether they've eaten, how they're feeling, the intensity of that emotion (can be set by age appropriate levels), and whether they'd like to talk to someone — and their responses flow directly to you as real-time data. It's a small moment that tells you a lot: who came in hungry, who's carrying something heavy, and who might need a quiet check-in before the day gets going. Teachers can also add their own custom questions, making the check-in work for whatever your school community needs to know. For a teaching principal with eyes on everything, it's the clearest possible picture of your students' wellbeing.
SEL lessons explicitly aligned to the Australian Curriculum
Switch4Schools delivers over 200 lesson plans fully scoped and sequenced to ACARA Version 9, covering Personal and Social Capability — including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills — as well as Health and Physical Education, with a focus on mental health literacy and personal wellbeing strategies. Every lesson is ready to teach from the moment you open it, with no additional planning or curriculum mapping required. For teaching principals at small and remote schools, that means you can walk into any lesson knowing your SEL program is explicitly aligned to the Australian Curriculum — not loosely connected to it, but built around it from the ground up. Lessons are sequenced to build progressively across year levels, so even in a multi-age classroom you can deliver cohesive, age-appropriate content that meets each student where they are.
Real-time data
Switch4Schools gives teaching principals a live window into the emotional and social wellbeing of every student in their school. Each day, students complete a 30-second digital check-in that captures how they're feeling — and that data is instantly available to you in a clear, easy-to-read dashboard. Weekly wellbeing reports surface trends over time, so you're not reacting to problems after they've escalated — you're spotting them early, when a conversation or a targeted lesson can make a real difference. For a teaching principal managing a classroom and a school simultaneously, that kind of visibility isn't a luxury — it's the difference between knowing your students and guessing.
Online support
The Switch4Schools Help Hub is available whenever you need it, giving you instant access to step-by-step user guides, how-to training videos. Whether you're setting up your first check-in, navigating your reporting dashboard, or troubleshooting mid-lesson, the Help Hub means you're never on your own — no matter how far from a city you are. For small and remote schools where specialist support has always been out of reach, that kind of on-demand help changes everything.
What are our school principals saying?

Steve Bodger
Small School Principal
I gave a full school presentation, the kids are excited about using it and have all completed their first "check in". Thanks again, we think we are going to love SWITCH...

"Switch4Schools was a part of our action plan. After participating in the Queensland engagement and wellbeing survey, we decided to makean action plan and Switch4Schools was a part of that plan. We wanted teachers to be a little more aware of how students' emotional and social wellbeing affected their learning and feeling safe, comfortable and confident in our school.
