It’s been a pretty exciting (okay… VERY exciting!) time here at Switch4Schools and for everyone who believes that wellbeing belongs right at the heart of learning.
We’re thrilled to share that Switch4Schools has received two major awards in one week: Selected for the HundrED Global Collection 2026, and Winners at the 2025 Sunshine Coast Business Awards.
That’s both international applause and local high-fives for the same mission: helping students understand emotions, build resilience and re-engage with learning (without adding extra complexity to a teacher’s day.)
Big Global News: Switch4Schools Named a Top 100 Innovation in the World!

Every year, the team at HundrED searches the globe for the most inspiring K–12 education innovations — ideas that genuinely help students thrive.
This year, after 240+ experts from 52 countries completed more than 3,360 reviews, Switch4Schools was chosen as one of the top 100 global innovations for 2026.
Yep… out of the entire world. No big deal. (Okay… it’s a big deal! We’re celebrating!)
What caught HundrED’s attention?
✨ Everyday, easy-to-use wellbeing practices
✨ Helping students turn emotions into superpowers
✨ Scalable impact across classrooms and year levels
✨ A joyful, strengths-based approach to emotional regulation
“All students deserve the chance to understand and harness their emotions,” said Phil Slade, co-founder of Switch4Schools. “This recognition from HundrED reminds us that simple tools can create big, meaningful change, not just in Australia, but anywhere students learn.”
For principals and teachers, this global nod means something powerful: wellbeing isn’t just a trend. It’s becoming a central part of excellent teaching and learning worldwide.
Local Love: Celebrated at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards

Just when we thought the week couldn’t get more exciting, Switch4Schools also picked up the Personal Fitness & Wellbeing Award at the 2025 Sunshine Coast Business Awards!
These awards celebrate businesses that make the region stronger, healthier and more future-focused (and we’re absolutely honoured to be recognised in our own backyard).
Winning this award signals something important to schools in Queensland and beyond: wellbeing is becoming a crucial ingredient in positive school culture, smoother classrooms and stronger learning outcomes.
“Being recognised locally is incredibly special,” Phil shared. “It shows that wellbeing isn’t a ‘bonus activity’, but rather essential for student success, teacher sustainability and thriving school communities.”
Our win was also acknowledged in local newspaper, Noosa Today.
Why These Wins Matter for Schools
School leaders everywhere are noticing the same thing: emotional wellbeing is influencing everything. Learning, behaviour, relationships, resilience and the overall energy of a school day.
These two awards highlight that Switch4Schools is offering something genuinely useful for teachers:
✨ Quick wellbeing moments built into everyday routines
✨ Activities that help students reset, refocus and regulate
✨ Easy-to-use tools that reduce overwhelm (not add to it!)
✨ A shared emotional language that helps classrooms feel calmer and more connected
Schools using Switch4Schools reporting see more confidence, more focus, more resilience (and yes… more joy!)
🎉 A Moment Worth Celebrating — and a Movement Worth Joining

Being recognised globally and locally in the same week isn’t just a celebration for us. It’s a celebration for every teacher and student who believes that emotions belong in the classroom.
And we’re just getting started.
